Philine Blachny
Philine Blachny, born in Germany, has been playing the violin since she was seven years old. Since 2009 she has been a pupil at the Saxon State Grammar School for Music Carl Maria von Weber Dresden, majoring in violin and changed to the viola the following year. In 2012 she began her bachelor studies with Prof. Nils Mönkemeyer and Jürgen Weber at the University of Music and Theater in Munich. In the summer of 2019 she completed her master's degree there with Sara Kim.
Philine has collected orchestral experiences in various youth orchestras, soon after she worked as a temporary assistant with the Munich Symphony Orchestra, the Georgian Chamber Orchestra Ingolstadt and the Europamusical Festival Orchestra.
She attended masterclasses with Tatjana Masurenko in Leipzig and Nils Mönkemeyer in Weimar and Dresden.
Since September 2018 she is a scholarship holder of the Dual Orchestra Academy Thuringia.
